Phoenix James has formally advised the Nunkuwarrin Yunti Board of Directors of his intention to step down as CEO effective immediately. We would like to thank Phoenix for his dedicated service over the past 10 months, including 4 months as Acting Executive, Corporate Services and 7 months as Acting CEO. We wish him all the best for the future.
Deputy Chairperson, Ken Tilbrook, has been appointed as the Acting CEO to lead Nunkuwarrin Yunti during this transition period. Ken has been on the Board of Directors for nearly 10 years and brings a wealth of experience. He has been closely involved with the Redress scheme in the past and was also a part of the Royal Commission into Abuse and Government Care.
