The Board

Allan, as the Managing Director of A.R.T Employment, has over 15 years’ experience managing and coordinating Aboriginal jobs and training projects nationally. In 2011, the South Australian Minister for Aboriginal Affairs appointed Allan to the South Australian Aboriginal Advisory Committee to provide high-level advice to state policies and strategic planning. Allan is the inaugural and current Chairperson of the Marni Waiendi Aboriginal Transition Centre, which is a national and state award winning Aboriginal Transition Centre in areas of training, innovation and building capacity within Aboriginal communities.

Currently CEO of Aboriginal Health Council has also held positions of Deputy CEO and Manager, Education and Training. Shane has also worked in Aboriginal health as a Registered Nurse and Senior Executive in Government, University and Non-Government Organisations for over 27 years.

Shane Mohor – Treasurer

Currently Snr Cultural and Diversity Consultant for Department of Premier and Cabinet, Manger Housing, CEO Aboriginal Sobriety Group, Community Educator for Nunkuwarrin Yunti and others.

Rosie Howson was Manager of the Counselling and Social Health Team with Nunkuwarrin Yunti. During this time Rosie came up with the Idea of the Diploma of Narrative Approaches for Aboriginal People. This course was developed through strong community consultation and listening to Aboriginal People across South Australia. As Chairperson of the organisation after retiring, Rosie continues to advocate for programs such as the People Development Unit to ensure that suitable traing and support systems are in place to support Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people working in this area of health care.
