For the first time, Nunkuwarrin Yunti is hosting the Closing the Gap Day event on Kaurna Yerta reflects the goals of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, which seeks to raise awareness of the ongoing inequalities faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Closing the Gap Day is a free, family-friendly event that brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members of all ages with organisations and governments delivering vital services across South Australia.
The day is also an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to come together, connect, and celebrate with Welcome to Country ceremonies, live performances, activities, art, and much more.
